This single-family home is defined by its precise geometry and strong orientation toward the landscape. The project features a striking cantilevered upper level that creates a large shaded terrace below, framing views without structural interruptions.

The Arc uses interlacing bamboo arches and tensioned gridshells to span 19 meters without steel. The project demonstrates how engineered bamboo can achieve large-scale structural performance while remaining lightweight and renewable.

The project is inspired by the patterns of Aspen trees. Each window is digitally shaped to control light, views, and privacy, creating a facade that connects natural geometry with function. The design combines advanced modeling with sustainable building strategies to form a new landmark in downtown Denver.

This 1,460 sqm structure uses a series of interlocking bamboo arches to form a column-free interior. Prefabricated bamboo components were assembled on-site, showcasing how modular bamboo systems can scale to large public buildings with minimal environmental impact.

The project transformed Amsterdam’s historic Kas Bank into a five-star hotel. Original features like the sandstone facade and vaults were restored, while new spaces include a spa, bar, restaurant, and XBank creative hub.
