The chapel sits on a generous site in Itu, in Sao Paulo countryside. It is adjacent to Nest House, a family residence designed for a couple seeking a quiet refuge.
Felipe Caboclo found his guiding principle in a passage from Le Corbusier that had echoed since his university years: walls that rise toward heaven in such a way that one is moved.
