Eindhoven has a new architectural landmark: Lighthouse. Standing at 109 metres, it is the city's tallest building and the centerpiece of the Strijp-S redevelopment. Located in a former Philips industrial district, the tower marks the entrance to this vibrant urban quarter. Designed by West8 as part of a wider masterplan, it sits prominently on Philitelaan, across from the Gloeilampplantsoen.
Designed by De Zwarte Hond, the building features 333 rental apartments and nine exclusive penthouses on its top floors. The base of the tower is dedicated to public life, containing shops and social spaces that keep the surrounding square lively.....… see more here
