Have you ever noticed how much better a path feels when it's properly shaded? Or how a cluster of flowers can catch your eye? These small decisions shape how we experience the world. This week, we want to shine a light on the work of landscape designers.

Landscape architects shape how people move through space, manage water with permeable paving, and reduce heat and noise with planting. They plan for light, wind, and circulation. They soften the built world, while supporting ecology, climate, and community.

This week we want to share some of our favorite projects and designers that do just that.
