Situated along the Pierre Corneliskaai in Aalst, Belgium, Ark38 transforms a late 19th-century brick weaving mill, later repurposed as a Tupperware plastic factory, into a 2,045 m² contemporary showroom for Sterck NV, a specialist in bathroom and kitchen design. Completed by Objekt Architecten in 2022, the renovation preserves the building's ornamental brickwork while inserting three new material elements: concrete, metal, and wood. It brings the three symmetrical bays up to scale as a live showroom.
